The Quality Assurance Intern performs all the necessary test activities to ensure product functionality implementation corresponds with the specifications. Responsibilities The Quality Assurance Intern assists in maintaining, implementing and extending existing testing artefacts (test specifications, test harnesses, & test automation framework). The test engineer uses the various tools to execute tests, both manual and automated, in order to monitor and report on the overall quality of the ONESPAN products and solutions. The Quality Assurance Intern performs all the necessary test activities to ensure product functionality implementation corresponds with the specifications. Key Tasks: The Quality Assurance Intern works closely with other QA Engineers, the QA Manager and other R&D staff in various capacities. The typical activities include: Define product specific test specifications, test plans and test cases; review test documentation with the product owner; and maintain the documentation throughout the SDLC. Extend our test automation framework in Python, you make use of third party tools like Jenkins continuous integration server, Selenium WebDriver, SeleniumGrid, AutoIT, pywinauto and the Python programming language, in order to automate the testing of various ONESPAN products. Deploy various Servers, (Linux, Windows AD, and Database systems) in order to test ONESPAN’s products. Execute manual & automated test cases; work with developers/support-engineers to help reproduce/troubleshoot/root-cause software issues; and report regular test status and updates to the R&D team.
