Als bachelor elektromechanica vervul je een sleutelrol om de veiligheid en de regelmaat van het treinverkeer te verbeteren: In de Tractiewerkplaats Antwerpen Noord sta je mee in voor het onderhoud en revisie van elektrische en diesellocomotieven. Je past verschillende technieken toe en bouwt een doorgedreven kennis op van het treinmaterieel. Dit onderhoud gebeurt voornamelijk overdag en in het weekend. Op de Technische onderhoudspost Antwerpen Schijnpoort voer je correctief en preventief onderhoud uit van reizigersmaterieel (rijtuigen, motorstellen, …). Dit gebeurt overdag en ’s nachts en ook in de weekends. Naast het onderhoud aan het rollend materieel (treinen) zorgen onze eigen techniekers ook voor het onderhoud en vernieuwingen van eigen technische installaties en gebouwen. Afhankelijk van je inzet, motivatie en competenties groei je snel door naar functies zoals: depannagedienst, teamleader, planner, …
